FOURTH & HOPE RECEIVES $10,000 GRANT FROM BAYER FUND

Donation to help the Food and Nutrition Program

WOODLAND, CA / JUNE 30, 2022 – Fourth & Hope announced today it received a grant for $10,000 from Bayer Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer US. This grant will be used to provide three nutritious meals per day and welcomes anyone in Yolo County that is food insecure. The program currently serves approximately 50,000 meals per year with community volunteer support.

“We are so grateful to receive the Bayer Fund grant of $10,000 for Fourth & Hope’s Food and Nutrition Program for a second time in the past two years,” stated Doug Zeck, Executive Director at Fourth & Hope. “This grant will not only provide support to our organization, but also the community we serve by allowing us to 1) alleviate hunger, 2) improve community nutrition, and 3) reduce health disparities. We are blessed to have Bayer Fund support our mission to change lives.”
