EMPTY BOWLS 2024

Fight Hunger Feed Hope

The 16th Annual Empty Bowls is on Wednesday, October 23 at Life Pointe Church in Woodland. Empty Bowls is a global movement that fights hunger locally. The event will feature a simple soup lunch, dinner, and raffle. To show our commitment to our hungry and homeless neighbors, we invite you to partner with Fourth & Hope by attending our lunch or dinner fundraiser, and/or supporting this event as a sponsor.

This fundraising effort goes to support our emergency shelter program. We move Yolo County residents who are experiencing homelessness from the streets to stability.

Your partnership will help ensure the success of our event and allow Fourth & Hope to further its Mission to Change Lives. Together, we will bring help today for hope tomorrow.

EMPTY BOWLS: This event was started in 1990 by a group of high school students in Michigan searching for a way to raise funds for a food drive. What evolved was a class project to make ceramic bowls for a fundraising meal. Empty Bowls is made possible by sponsors, the local restaurants that donate the soup, bread, and cookies, and, of course, you. Thank you for your support!
