EMPTY BOWLS RECAP 2024

The 16th Annual Empty Bowls event unfolded on October 23, 2024, at Life Pointe Church in Woodland as part of a global effort to combat local hunger. This year’s gathering showcased a variety of 12 delectable soups served by community leaders and local dignitaries. Attendees enjoyed a vibrant raffle with unique prizes, contributing to nearly meeting our ambitious $35,000 fundraising goal.

This gathering was not just a fundraiser; it was a powerful demonstration of compassion and support for those in need within our community.

Thank you once again for your kindness, generosity, and commitment to transforming lives!

Each dollar raised at Empty Bowls contributes directly to our emergency shelter program, where we transform the lives of Yolo County residents without homes.

By transitioning from the streets to stability, we provide more than just shelter; we offer a pathway to a renewed life. Your ongoing partnership enables Fourth & Hope to continue its vital mission of transforming lives. Together, we are not just supporting an event; we are building a foundation for tomorrow’s hope and today’s healing.

EMPTY BOWLS: This event was started in 1990 by a group of high school students in Michigan searching for a way to raise funds for a food drive. What evolved was a class project to make ceramic bowls for a fundraising meal. Empty Bowls is made possible by sponsors, the local restaurants that donate the soup, bread, and cookies, and, of course, you. Thank you for your support!
