Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)
Our Permanent Supportive Housing provides long-term, affordable homes for individuals and families who have experienced chronic homelessness and live with a disabling condition. Residents receive ongoing case management, behavioral health linkages, and individualized support to maintain stability.
PSH residents also have access to the East Beamer Community Center, where a Volunteer Coordinator facilitates community activities, life-skills workshops, and wellness programming. The center strengthens connections, reduces isolation, and supports residents in building a stable and healthy future.
Transitional Housing Programs
Fourth & Hope provides structured, time-limited housing for adults and families in need of support as they transition to permanent housing. Our transitional housing includes:
Sober Living Environment (SLE)
A peer-supported, recovery-focused housing program with links to outpatient treatment, accountability, and case management. SLE offers a safe environment for individuals working toward long-term sobriety and independence.
Behavioral Health Bridge Housing (BHBH)
Short-term and mid-term housing for individuals experiencing homelessness who also have severe behavioral health conditions. BHBH combines temporary housing with voluntary services, including mental health support, case management, housing navigation, and stabilization planning to help participants transition into permanent housing.
Ellen’s House – CalWORKs Family Shelter
A safe and supportive shelter with 11 private units for CalWORKs-eligible families and pregnant individuals experiencing homelessness. Families have access to communal spaces, onsite staffing, and CalWORKs Intensive Case Management, which supports housing stabilization and the transition to long-term housing.
Our Housing Approach
Across all programs, Fourth & Hope is committed to:
