Every year we look forward to connecting with the community and raising needed funds at our biggest event, Empty Bowls. Given the uncertainty and concern about COVID-19, and the continually changing situation, we have made the decision to cancel the 14th Annual Empty Bowls, normally held on the third Thursday in October.

Our work to help people, including emergency shelter, housing and residential treatment – isn’t slowing down. We’re still here on the job, actively helping 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Because of the financial toll that the pandemic is taking, we expect the need for these services to grow, putting a strain on our resources.

There is another way to help. In fact, you can make double the difference today! From now through September 30th your donation made through Travis Credit Union Foundation will be MATCHED. That means that every dollar you donate becomes $2. A donation of $50 becomes $100.

We are grateful for our friends at Travis Credit Union Foundation for including Fourth & Hope in this very special COVID-19 relief effort.

Choose “Fourth & Hope” from the drop-down menu. Donations must be received through Travis Credit Union Foundation to get the match.

We are sad we won’t get to see you at Empty Bowls this year, but we remain hopeful that even with this pandemic, we can continue to gather the resources needed to “stay on the job.” For however long it takes us to get out of the coronavirus woods, people will still need our help. Your support and compassion matter greatly to all of us at Fourth & Hope. Thank you for your kindness and generosity. We will get through this together.
